Thinking about Taking Credit Cards Online!

The things you need to know before you start!

There are two ways to do it:

1.) Process them on your site.  When you decide you want to process credit card information on your site you will need a little more work to get you there.

• SSL Certificate
  
• or HTTPS  (This is provided by your hosting company)
• You will need an account with a credit card processing company

2.) Process credit cards on someone else site. When the customer submits an order they are sent to (Example) Paypal to finish processing the payment information. This way the aren't taking credit card information on your site.  You don't have to worry about security!

• Most economical way of doing it.
  
• You may end up paying more in fee's
